Belén R.   (7 years old)

Belen’s problem is a typical case of interceptive orthodontics. When she came for the first time, she had a cross bite occlusion of the anterior teeth so she had to place her jaw in a prominent position.

With a simple removable bracket on the root of the mouth, the position of the incisors was corrected in four months, after which she had to wear it as retention at night for three months.

On the pictures we can observe the changes in her profile thanks to the correct position of her jaw.
We are currently watching and waiting for the appearance of permanent teeth in order to evaluate whether she needs a second phase treatment with brackets.
