Curso de Certificación Incognito.

On the 21st and 22nd of October an Incognito Certification Course was held in Barcelona. Any orthodontics professional who wants to start using the Incognito Lingual Orthodontics technique has to train in Certification Course.

Only the experienced and trained professionals by Dr Wiechmann (Orthodontist and inventor of the appliance) are allowed to give these Certification Courses. This course was given by Dr Leandro Fernandez together with Dr Mujagic and Dr Sada. The course consists of a theoretical part and a practical part with typodonts to practise the way of archwire ligation to this type to brace depending on the correction we want to make. In this training we also had Dr Rocío Gómez de la Cruz. In the course they explained both the way of making these brackets made- to -measure and everything to do with diagnosis and dealing with complicated cases.

Around 100 colleagues attended. All of them were experienced Orthodontists and they were very interested in implementing this technique of Lingual Orthodontics in their clinics. Applying this technique implies reliable results and this type of braces are completely comfortable for the patients.

When Dr Leandro Fernandez started to use the Incognito technique a few years ago, most people he spoke to thought that Lingual Orthodontics was very uncomfortable for the patients and it was impossible to treat the cases in a reliable way. Nowadays a lot of patients already know the Incognito Lingual Orthodontics and the professionals know that the appearance during the treatment is very important for most of our patients.
