Curso en el Colegio de dentistas de Málaga: “Abriendo las puertas al autoligado”

On the 20th of May Dr Leandro Fernandez was invited to give a course at the Dental Association of Malaga. The course was called: “Opening the doors to Self-ligation” and it lasted all Friday long. It was a complete success regarding attendance (more than 50 members of the association) and involvement. The programme included theoretical concepts about friction and archwire behaviour, as well as the differences between the different current self-ligating systems in the market, with their prons and cons. They also shared some guidelines concerning the clinical handling and the archwire sequence to use. Finally, in the afternoon, numerous cases were presented to prove the theoretical concepts explained previously and the tips to make the most of the mechanical features of this type of system.

There was a high involvement’s level. The participants expressed all their doubts and they were very satisfied with the answers.

It is nice to be able to share the tips and clinical pearls with such motivated and interested professionals in what we do at our clinic.
