On the 17th of September Dr Leandro Fernández had the pleasure of attending the farewell session of the latest set of new graduates from the Orthodontics Master’s degree course of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, where he lectures. During the day they did a clinical session with the cases treated using the Smartclip bracket which they had dealt with during the course, they did a detailed analysis of the differences in mechanics and the development of the cases treated using Smartclip and other brackets. They went on to check on the patients who are currently being treated as part of the Masters course.
But it wasn’t going to be all study and analysis. Let’s not forget it was a day of Celebration, with a capital “C”. Students Ángel-Luis Formoso Veloso, Katherine Landeta Morales, AlejanDr Bachor Mezquida, Oriol Quevedo Pou, Maria Franch Chillida and Cristina Vento Bosch (THANKS BOYS AND GIRLS) together with lecturers Dr Emma Serra, Dr Ana Molina, Dr Paula Ramírez, Dr Natalia Mateo and Dr Leandro Fernández himself enjoyed a magnificent dinner with a well-deserved celebration where they had a marvellous time!!
It is a great pleasure to accompany the students from the time they begin the course, with their worries and doubts etc, and see them grow, in both an orthodontic and a human sense. We send them our best wishes and wish them great success in the profession and we hope we have instilled into them the enjoyment of the profession, the concern for improving day after day and keeping the patient’s satisfaction as a personal and professional priority.
